I have no idea but the new format is annoying. They also disclose things in your bio, even if you did not CLICK it in your profile.

honeslty, i don't like the knot. since i found liw, i rarely go on. i find it hard to read the threads and everyone (almost) thinks you're a troll

I don't mind the LI board on the knot. I honestly don't venture off so I can't speak for any of the other boards but the LI one is really great. The girls on the LI board are really nice and very helpful. Similar to here. We even have GTG frequently.
What boards have you been on there?

I only 'frequent' the LI board on theknot.com but I'm predominantly on the New York Board....LOVE IT!
Not as much as I love the format here on LIWeddings...
I've gone to several GTG's with the knotties, and have made some really close friends and companions.
I love the bio profiles - wish LIWeddings did that!
I also like theknot.com b/c the ladies aren't all from Long Island like this board is.
I get a lot more feedback on local vendors around NYC.

Totally agree.
The format here is WAY better. Like being able to post links and pics in a post and all the cute icons. Also, I love that you can edit a post.
Definitely made some GREAT friends!

I usually stay on the LI board or NYC board. I have looked at some of the other boards and notice that alot of times groups will gang up on people, it is strange.
Some of the non-local boards do get like that. That's why I really stick to the LI board. I guess you could call me a chicken!!!

I emailed the Support about a week ago and they said that they forwarded my request onto the IT department. I just emailed them again for any updates. I find it's unfair to disclose ALL that information, I can understand if some girls don't want all their info out there!
