For those girls getting married on a Friday at a church. What time does the school let out? Do you see this presenting a problem for your limo's and guests???

Ask Jenna about this, she was having a little issue with her church for the same reason. I think they worked it out though.

I am not getting married on a Friday, but my school lets out at 2:45 and buses/traffic stick around until 3:00-3:15. If your mass starts around 3:00 I see it presenting a bit of a problem... your guests may have trouble finding parking. Also, there may be a lot of lurkers haha.

Yes, I was going to say the same thing. I remember her having difficulty with this.

I dont think the church would let you have the wedding at 3 if the schools were getting out there. Do you mean the Catholic School at the church?

Why don't you call Blessed Sacrament and ask? All schools have different dismissal times. Especially the Catholic ones b/c they can do whatever they want I'd also ask what they normally do about a Friday wedding. But I don't think you should have a problem.

my ceremony begins at 2:00. i am pretty sure the school gets out at 2:30. the school is on the street & the church is on the avenue. there is nothing that i can do about this now.

I believe Catholic schools get out earlier than 3 on Fridays. I also know some catholic schools let the students out even earlier on the first fridays of the month. I would call your church to find out

In Adriana's case, the school and church are two separate buildings but they are right next to each other. I *think* (and correct me if I'm wrong) she's more concerned about the buses and parents picking up their kids causing too much traffic on the block. Which is entirely possible considering they are also right on the corner of a main street.

I'm asking my friend who went to school there back 17 years ago lol. I'm asking her to remember.
I called, they are at lunch and i'm antsy lol.

Re: umm... might have a sliiiight problem.
My old church wouldn't let me move my mass time to 3 because of the school getting let out at that time. I have a feeling if they let you schedule your mass at 3 that it shouldn't interfere, I'm sure they've already accounted for this. The new church we're at now as a half day since it's first Friday, which Catholic schools usually have but for some odd reason St. Christopher's doesn't. So school lets out at around 11:45 on our day I believe.
