Her and my dad got married on a Sat night back in the day and were leaving for their honeymoon the following morning. So they gave her sister all of the gifts. They were on their honeymoon and my mom woke up from a nightmare once thinking they didn't pay off the wedding. She had to call internationally to find out if they did infact make all the $ back and they borrowed (they took out a loan for their wedding). They did.
So.. question. Are you going to count all of your wedding gifts before or after the honeymoon?

It will depends when we are leaving for the HM, we didnt book yet. If times allows we will be putting it in the bank before.

We haven't booked our honeymoon yet, but I'm sure we will count either that night or the next morning before brunch and deposit it before leaving on the HM. We will need to deposit it b/c i'm sure we will be pretty broke from the wedding

FH and i just recently spoke about this. We are getting married on a Saturday and leaving early the next day for our HM. So we are going to wait till after we get home from the HM to open them.

we'll count it that night, then give it to my parents after brunch the next day for them to put in their safe (yea, my parents have a sage, kinda weird) before we head off to the airport

Re: umm... oh ok wedding gift question
I think I might plot our the nearest Bank of America and deposit the wedding gifts the next day. Great thing with BOA is you can just deposit the cash and checks without an envelope. This way we ahve $$ for the honey moon Ill probably be broke by the wedding

our wedding is on sunday and we are most likely leaving for HM on tuesday. We will prob spend Monday saying goodbye to OOT guests and then opening our gifts and probably going to the bank. Don't really want to leave that $ hanging around!!!!
Same here... Sun wedding and HM on Tues... Im sure it will get counted and deposited b4 we leave

We have a couple of days to relax and spend with family and OOTers. so we are making a deposit before we leave.
