umm ok just got a call from DH

DH: I'm at the Infiniti dealership in Rockville center, there is a nice G35.

ME: Yea ok and?.....

DH: With $5000 down it would be like $410 a month

Me: thats nice

DH: Its a sedan, we could fit carseats back there

Me: Who's carseat? We have babies?

DH Babeeeeee please can I get it??

Me: (SILENCE)

DH: HELLO???

Me: Do whatever you want

Outcome: We now own a G35......2 weeks after a wedding and spending all that money , DH goes and drops $5000 like it was a $1.....

I am so laughing over here about the way he asked you if he can get it. Oh and I loved his selling point (Carseats) - Wow - he actually did get it though. When I tell FH do whatever you want he KNOWS he had better not make a decision without consulting with me and having me agree with it. That is a lot of money!

mine has started pushing that already... he knows i want kids and he knows that i want a volvo suv (or one as safe) when that happens. he wants a new suv now so he keeps pushing for us to go take a test drive. and he is the one who always complains that we are spending too much money on teh weddnig. sheesh.... my grandmother told me something once... the only differnce between man and boys is the price of their toys! ha!

If you want to scare him .... tonight you should be all gung ho about having kids... you could make it seem like you thought this was his way of saying he was ready for kids... after all he bought the car because it had room for the carseats right?!
