You can do alot of stuff with meatloaf. I put ketchup, mustard, onions, and garlic powder in mine.

To make it, just mix what you want in it and then bake it for about 30-45 minutes at 350.

My hubby loves meatloaf - you can put just about anything in it, aside from all the above I also put cheese in the middle of mine - either american or jalapeno cheese - its really good and my husband loves it.

Peppers, onions, mushrooms and lots of bread crumbs.

I get a decent size of chopmeat (beef or turkey) 1 egg, and either breadcrumbs and some tomato ketchup (like 1/2 cup or so, really just eyeball it) and mush it all up in a bowl with your hands. If you want to you can add finely chopped onion and some garlic (I prefer garlic powder for meatloaf).
ETA: you can use a baking dish if you have it. Shape it into a loaf and pour some ketchup on top (a thin line or brush a bit on). Bake at 350
for about an hour I think. You'll probably have to cut a bit in the middle to check the doneness. When it's not red in the middle it's done.

Or you can substitute teriyaki sauce for the ketchup or sub BBQ sauce..up to you (although I've never used BBQ sauce)

However my favorite is buying a box of Lipton Onion Soup Mix - there's usually a meatloaf recipe on the back.

Best meatloaf hands down is made with the onion soup mix! Meatloaf is super easy Shanna (that's why most of our moms made it so often ). Mush up the meat, 1 egg, breadcrumbs, ketchup and the lipton onion soup mix. Shape it into a loaf, put it in a pan, bake it on 350 for about 40 min to an hour (depending on how big it is).

If you're ever looking for easy and good ways to make these kind of 'standard' dinners, Lipton has a website of recipes using their soups.

This receipe is terrific and simple!!

I made it last week, but added a handful of raisans and 2 hard boiled eggs (whole) in the middle of the mixture - kind of italian style.

It was delicious!!

OOO...and I added a few chucks on Mozzarella cheese to the mixture - it was a great addition!

When you cut into it, you had the delicious mozzarella cheese seeping out....

I make it with chop meat and ground turkey 1/2 of one and 1/2 of the other and I like it much better like that because it doesn't hit my stomach like a ton of bricks. When my Mom makes hers, it tastes good, but you feel like you have an anvil attached to your waste! But I agree Meatloaf is easy to make!

Just make sure you take your rings off before you put your hands in there to mix it all up!
