Ummm OOT Wedding Present...

Umm, I just got a wedding present from an OOT couple attending my wedding. 2 cookie sheets. Yup, not even kidding. It's not even a $40 present.

I don't know whether to laugh, or to cry.

OMG! That's despicable! That is seriously the only word that comes to mind.

But, hey, on the bright side, at least they had the courtesy to RSVP no.

OMGGGGGGGGGG I didn't realize they were coming!!! Either way, UNACCEPTABLE.

We're not registered anywhere for the wedding, but I certainly hope no one's bringing a $40 check! HOLY $HIT!! Some ppl are so F*ckin clueless!!

There is a comedian that makes fun of his wedding saying that ..in reality you should have people send the gift with the invite and when they do base the plate on the gift you received .. he said a couple gave him a plate?!?! 1 plate. he was like are you kidding me.. he wanted to serve them a bun on that plate

I feel your pain... lol For our E-Party, FH's aunt (who is originally from NY but now lives in South Carolina) and her husband were unable to attend so they sent something from our registry as a gift...

Our everyday white sugar bowl $7.99 & a plastic butter dish (spare butter dish we registered for) $2.99

My FMIL was so embarrassed when she found out she sent that and didn't know how to even approach the subject. She was actually convinced that BB&B made a mistake and forgot to include the other items. The other day when they were talking the aunt brought up how practical I was with the registry so far and how I had a little bit of everything with different prices, so FMIL pretty much knew then that what we received was what was intended. Then the aunt proceeded to tell her that they went on a 2 week long cruise to/from Spain.

i know that this is probably a stupid thought, but do you think that maybe she got invited to your shower and she couldn't make it so she sent you the cookie sheets as a shower gift? I dont know....im just thinking of something to justify that gift!!!

There's def not a chance that this is an engagement/shower present. The card says 'Congratulations!! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and homemade cookies throughout your marriage.'
