One time I was in Sam's Club and this guy and his wife came in. She had just lost her e-ring that day. She picked out a new ring that was 10K and he bought it for her on the spot. Now, I know that 10K does not sound so high for a ring, but this was unexepected, after the lady lost hers and he just plopped down the money like it was nothing!!! The lady was really upset about the one she lost, though, and the guy was trying to make her feel better.
Ive heard that Sams and Costco have pretty good quality jewelry-with that said-i wouldnt spend that much at costco

They are actually carry good quality diamonds (only I or better) but it is a little wierd getting a ring from them.... That's like saying 'I'll take the platinum solitaire and the 32 lb. jar of peanut butter' but I am sure the jewelwry is nice there![]()

if it's a good deal, you'd be silly not to.
I think their jewelry is supposed to appraise at close to double what you pay for it but, I thought they had things a little more reasonably priced.
Actually Costco has top quality diamonds
a few months ago, good morning america had a segment on diamonds. they bought one from costco and one from tiffanys. I think they were 1 carat platinum, similar color and clarity. I think they said they paid about $6k for the costco diamond and it appraised for $8k - the tiffanys one was like $15k or something like that and appraised for a little less, but they said you usually pay more bc its from tiffanys. - but you couldnt tell the difference between the two!!

A diamond is a diamond wherever it comes from. a Flawless D color from costco is the same as one from Tiffant only at Costco you ar not paying for a brand name if that make sense. Anyway those earring are actually very high quality stones and that is not a bad price for what they are.
Beautiful earrings - but a bit over my jewelry budget.
