Ummmm did anyone else see that new show on mtv?

Last night, I laid down with FH to watch TV, and he was watching this show called the Jersey Shore, and laughing: b.c this show is so far fetched that he couldn't get over the bs of it!

Ok so the guys on this show are freakin stupid. I'm sorry but my Fh is a body building, Italian, who is Tan and has good hair and he is actually very intelligent. They literally give Italian men such a bad name. And they are not good looking... AT ALL.

I think MTV should do a show about these tools getting married. I could only imagine. Its so stupid. And the amount of Juice-heads on that show blows my mind. Its worse than the guys at FH's gym.

I'm so happy my FH doesn't look like or act like these tools. It made me really appreciate what i have: A normal, good looking Italian hottie with a career and a normal attitude.

If my Dad saw this he would vomit..

i def agree that you can't base all Italian men on this show....but down in Belmar (in the Jersey Shore),...so many of the guys are really like that.

very true. my friends used to rent a summer house there & those are the kind of people you find.

i refuse to watch the show.

It was soooo terrible, but I just couldn't stop watching it

I so wanted to watch this trashiness

and Sandra plz dont put those guys and ur FH in the same sentence even. no points of comparison at all. ur FH is so sweet
besides, there are plenty of other ethnicities that have these tools, no body is immune to stupid unfortunately lol

FH and I caught it too....both FH and I were cracking up hysterically at it! Even FH was in to it (and he HATES reality tv). It is so sad that people are really like that....but - I was happy I caught it bc it did give us a good laugh before bed

I am so embarressed to say this, but I know that couple. I used to go to the salon where she works. And I am sad to say it wasn't acting. A couple of years ago they made front page headlines in the local paper for getting in a fight (physical fight) with an older woman over seats at their kid's pre school christmas show. I know one of them was arrested, not sure if both were. And the article said he again screamed 'do you know who I am?

You're talking about Charlie and Sabrina lol. The thing is that these bafoons are from where I live too lol. They think they are cool yet everyone is laughing at them. These club morons are cool in the club or down the shore, then once they step back into the real world you can't help but laugh.

this show was geared for middle america.....


for us nyers, its was pure comedy. i dont think anyone took them seriously. but thats reality though. theres TONS of ppl like that. we may not associate with any of them (anymore at least lol) but they stilll exist. lolol

sooo embarrassing....

i love the jersey shore... my friends and i have tons of fun there...there are actually a lot of nice places to go to...

unfortunately tools like this do exist... they come from everywhere...ny and nj...

its SAD...but so true...

fh is my polish juicehead... (but not really) he's into bodybuilding, has great hair, but he's so shy....its ashame that all bodybuiliders, gym buffs are stereotyped to be pathetic cornballs...

the sad part is that the rest of america will label jersey as a $hitty place w/nothing but losers...

I heard about this show and a lot of people are complaining about the stereo typing they are portraying of Italian men. As an Italian woman with brothers and sons I wouldn't even consider watching something that makes us look stupid. We all should really boycot the show. Most Italian men are just like your FH and my sons are smart & intelligent men.

i saw the show last night and thought it was ridiculously funny. i think one guy said that being a guido is all about 'muscles, tanning, hair, and family.' wtffffffffff?!?!?!
it is far fetched tho.. they're all pretty crazy.......

I'm a true life junkie, and that was my #1 favorite episode. I quote it all the time - especially the scene where he was screaming at the limo driver. Amazing.

I totally missed it, I am so mad! I cant wait to watch..this looks absolutely hysterical.

IMO... I really dont think that those of us that are Italian should really get annoyed by what is portrayed on this show because I think you would have to be a total moron to actually believe that the majority of Italians are like this in real life.

It's all just entertainment, and if these people on this show are stupid enough to actually be proud of the fact that they live their lives like this...than I am more than happy to watch them and laugh my *** off at them!

Bring on the drama!! BTW..I think it replays at midnight tonite.
