I went to the dentist during lunch for my regular exam and cleaning........I asked the dentist about bleaching and he told me to do it in September so they are nice and fresh for the wedding, fine....

I also asked him, since Ihave an open bite (my top teeth don't go over my bottom ones, just a small gap that my tongue can basically go through), if there is anyway to fix and correct the problem so my uppers go over my lowers.....

yeah, theres a way.....oral surgery to basically open my jaw in half and reposition it to go ontop of the bottom ones.....THEN as if that wasn't bad, 2 years of braces ontop, meanwhile, I had braces for 6 years already....

I bascially ran out of there - JEEZ!

Yikes. At least maybe after the surgery you'll be able to move your top teeth.

Thats crazy!
I've had this issue for 32 years and finally i had to get it taken care of b/c of the pain in my lower jaw from my teeth pushing together. Originally the ortho's told me that I would need to have braces for 6 months, then jaw surgery (break my jaw and then move it apart with pins) and then be put back into braces for another year and a half!
I said, 'no thanks' and checked out speed braces. The ortho i'm going to now worked out a plan where i have them on for 8 months total. SO worth it! And my teeth are almost 100% better at only 6 months!

Did you ask him 'ARE YOU CRAZY!!!????'
