A good facial with extractions is the best thing. I would go to a salon rather than doing it myself because they have steam machines which open the pores really well, and if someone else is doing it, you will be less likely to miss small imperfections that can be extracted.

another thing I recently learned is that your face SHOULD NOT be red after a facial....I have gone to many spas in NYC where they ruin my skin....your skin should glow when you walk out, not be red and irritated. A good place that focuses on extractions without irritation is the Sally Hershberger 'Face Place' in Chelsea. I love love love it - they clean my skin and I don't have to worry about looking like a freak when I walk out of there

I have always had a good experience at Georgette Klinger in Manhasset...not that I can offord it with all of my wedding stuff
