I'm so undecided where to make an appt on Wednesday for wedding dress shopping. I go on yelp and read good reviews and bad reviews and just can't decide. Just don't want to go and the people are rude and make it an unpleasant experience.
On a side note I did have a dream yesterday that I said yes to the dress so I guess it means it's coming soon.

I'm pretty sure every store has good and bad reviews...and one way I looked at it, I never go online to leave a review unless the experience was AWFUL...but I'm sure some people just enjoy giving feedback.
What stores were you thinking of visiting?

Village Bridal, and Bridal Reflections. I'm also giving myself a $2,000 budget. So I need to find stores in that range.

I think village bridal has more dresses in your price range. Bridal suite of bayshore defiantly does

krissy at village bridal ROCKS!! i bought my dress there and she made the experience amazing. they had a ton of dresses under $2,000. also, they are competitive so if you find the dress somewhere cheaper they will match it! (or beat it!)

Try Macy's in Manhasset. I found mine there! I didn't read reviews but I went there because so many people recommended it and I figured it was for a good reason. I had a good gut feeling too which ended up being accurate :)

this is the only time I didn't pay attention to reviews. everyone has different experiences. I loved my experience at bridal reflections so far. yet I personally know a girl who didn't.

I narrowed it down to Village bridal for some reason my mind and heart keeps pulling towards village bridal, if that doesn't work, then bridal reflections.

I loved Village Bridal! I got my dress there and have nothing but good things to say about the experience so far. I had a $1500 budget and they had a lot of dresses for me to try. I also had Krissy as a consultant and she was awesome.

If you want to venture to NYC, I was just at RK Bridal on Saturday and had a lot of fun! They don't take appointments but require you to be there before 1pm on Saturdays (their website has all of their info for other days) to try on dresses. I recommend getting there early so that you avoid the rush. We had 30 people in front of me and I got there at 11:30am, so we did brunch across the street. It was an awesome experience though, there are so many dresses to choose from and you have other people there wowing you in this beautiful gown. I probably won't go back to the city but it was definitely worth the experience. :)
