On making my maid and matron of honor wear a deeper shade than than the other girls. This was my original decision, but I just don't want it to look bad. Now I'm 50/50.
The color comparison on-line does do justice but you can get an idea. The MOH's would be Amethyst and the BM's in Victorian.
I am doing my maid of honor in a lighter shade of red. I just think that the MOH should stand out somehow, everyone seems to keep all the girls in the same color and you can't tell who is who. Besides, my MOH(my sister) will look great in the red.

Have you seen the colors in person?? There does not seem to be a big difference in between the colors. If the colors are too close, then I say no, but if there is a big enough difference then I would say yes.
I had all of the BP in the same color, I jsut made their boo-ks a bit different, white and yelow roses instead of just yellow roses.
