I Loved our up lighting. I have an issue with migraines and that was my biggest fear for our wedding. We didn't do any of those crazy spinning lights or strobe lights. it was all basically up lighting with a splash of dance floor lighting. It was beautiful and I didn't have a headache at all.
Edit: I highly recommend this to anyone who gets as many head aches as I do!

wow, it looks beautiful!! i love the ballroom at flowerfield.. that's one of the places we are considering. it's just a PERFECT room for uplighting. :) congrats on your wedding!
just curious.. how did you like flowerfield overall?

Thank you. If theres any advice I can give to all brides who havent booked yet - GO WITH FLOWERFIELD!! I PROMISE you - they are amazing from the start to finish. I never had to lift a finger. EVER. I never had to go to the bar or go get food or anything. The grounds inside and out are GORGEOUS. We loved it from the second we walked in but we were BLOWN AWAY by what they do for the day of!!! The rooms are amazing. The bridal attendant was AMAZING! Even down to coming over to our table and changing my shoes for me!!! I cannot stress enough how absolutely beautiful our wedding was. WORTH EVERY PENNY!
Food is AWESOME!!!! At the end of the night they packed up so much food for my husband (ah weird to write haha) and I .. one of each entree and wedding cake and desserts from the stations we had. They just kept on surprising us!
Happy planning! Im so jealous - I miss it so much.

it's gorgeous and really adds sooo much!! DO IT!!!!! I was torn on this, but knew I really wanted it and it was worth the money in my eyes. it's just too gorgeous and really changes a room!
