FI's uncle's invitation was 'returned to sender' (I forgot the building number - duh!!). Anyway he works in FI's office and they are very close. Can FI just give him teh returned invite, or do I need to readdress and mail it fresh?

Re: Undeliverable Invite
I'd readdress it... I would think that's the way etiquette would tell us to do it

Thanks - that is what I thought, but was wondering if there was anyway around it

Re: Undeliverable Invite
I'd re-address it with the complete address in a new envelope. It looks better and shows that you take the time. Sometimes with Manhattan addresses you need a floor or suite number otherwise it gets 'return to sender' as that often happens to us at my job. I'm a marketing assistant in a Wall Street law firm working with attorneys' mailing lists and various mailing campaigns. If you get another 'undeliverable as address' invite--just a tip rather than chasing for a new address. Try these directory listings:
I'd readdress it as well...in a new envelop...BUT that happened to a coworker...she forgot the 1 in 164 to me...and she just brought it in ...I was not offended at all
