does anyone know of a good place to get an underskirt, veil and tiara. my first fitting is this thursday, and everything i find is sooo expensive. thanks for your input !

Veil and tiara... bring a picture of your dress to Barron's in the tri county Flea Market on Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown. They are only open Thurs-Sunday.
Underskirt- what did your bridal shop recommend you wear underneath it? You really have to stick with what's best for the dress. I foiund the best bargains on a few internet sights. Don't have them on hand but if you do a search for bridal crinolines they should come up.
I'm not sure about getting all of this so late but they might be able to rush order it. Good luck.

I originally bought my crinoline at www.bridalpetticoat.com. Although it was very nice, the place where I got the dress had it and I could buy it from them and they could actually sew under the dress. However I just had my first fitting and my dress has enough volume for me and I didn't need extra. So in short I would recommend having the trial first and if you want more volume then buy it afterwards.

I got my veil on a whim at the place that I bought my shoes. But I got my tiara at Attias Flea market. I usually hate that place (kind of scanky) but my mom recommended a booth there for me and I went and I found the one I wanted. I borrowed my slip from my best friend ...we are the same size and we both had the same type of slip needed for the dress. So that worked out well. But I have heard wonderful things about the Tri Coutny Flea market for your tiara and veil
