Anyone getting their underarms waxed for the big day. i tried using sally hanson cream hair remover and it did do squat for my underarms except irritate the heck out of them. I have dark hair so iI'd like the area nice and clean looking for the wedding since I'm wearing a strapless dress.

Re: Underarm waxing?
OUCH!
No, I will be shaving. It's not worth the ouch factor (for me, anyway)!

Re: Underarm waxing?
I loved it! The only bad part is growing it out some. I have always got it done at the same nail place in Plainedge. It was great no hair for the rehersal, wedding and honeymoon!

Re: Underarm waxing?
I made an appointment for the day before my wedding but I think I might cancel it considering I never had it done before and I am afraid of irritation the next day.

Re: Underarm waxing?
It doesnt hurt as much as you think it might. If you can stand growing it out than go for it...Definitely do it a couple days before the wedding though.

Go for it! I love it! Definetly get it done professionally. Do not use hair removers. It will make your hair grow out thicker

Re: Underarm waxing?
I did it for the wedding. The worst part was letting it grow in - for 2 weeks! (I got married in the beginning of Sept when it was still hot ) The actual waxing hurt literally for 5 seconds each. I didn't have any problems or side effects.
