Does anyone have problems with undereye circles? I've been fighting them since as early as I could remember and Im so sick of looking tired all the time. I cant count how many times people say, 'You look tired'. Ugh Does anyone know of any miracle creams?? Does Hylexin really work? I use tons of cover-up but you can still tell theyre there and I dont want tired eyes on my wedding day

I am so with you on that one. Even when Im very well rested and have gotten 10 hours of sleep the night before I still look exhausted. I've tried a bunch of different so called miracle make up products, but nothing has helped!! If you find something that works, let me know!!

Re: Undereye Circles
I've had dark circles for as long as I can remember. I have olive skin and I don't tan regularly so I always look tired as well, I feel your pain. Unfortunetly I'm totally wasting space because I have no remedies except for makeup.

Re: Undereye Circles
i ♥ dark shadows by philosophy, it really does work~sephora has it, here's the link:
I swear by Well Rested by Bare Escentuals for covering it up - any yellow concealer will work... If you haven't already tried it, get a yellow concealer stick. I know Physician's Formula makes a bunch..
I just started using an Avon cream, I'll let you know if it works! I've only been religiously using it for the past 3 nights so give it about 2 weeks...

Re: Undereye Circles
i have it bad, i use cliniques 'all about eyes' doesnt get rid of all, but definately significantly lightens helping concealer to work better, try it, its one of the cheaper 'miracles ' out there, believe its under $30 around $28.00 HTH

Re: Undereye Circles
oddly enough the magical ingredient in most undereye creams for dark circles/puffiness is : caffeine

Re: Undereye Circles
I can SO empathize with you on this...I wish I had a great answer for you!! Mine are so dark, I hate going out without any type of consealer or foundation. I've had them since I can remember too...its just genetics....my friend once told me a lot of Italian girls have it for some reason, LOL. Who knows!!
P.S. I tried hylexin, and the strange thing about is, it works at first and then after using it a while, it seems like its usefulness wears off. It doesn't fade the dark areas like it used to.....

Re: Undereye Circles
Unfortunately, i can relate.. i always had them.. i spent alot of money of 'creams' nothing has worked. from what i read i heard cucumber slices, anything w/retinol, more sleep is only way to prevent..
also, i heard to avoid salty foods
sorry i couldn't be much help.. i would do anything to make them disappear for my wedding !!!

Re: Undereye Circles
my derm. said it was caused by allergies but offered no remedies
Oksana was able to cover them up thank goodness bc i have never been able to do that myself!
my whole family has them - it is frustrating to never look well rested!

Re: Undereye Circles
I know what you all are talking about!!! It's funny because i was just complaining about my eyes today at work! Right now i use the Clinique 'All about eyes' with the concealer and it works but on those rough days i dont think anything could help. One of the girls at work sell Arbon and they have something that they say will work, but i wont hold my breath.

i have them too. I use an under eye circle concealer from Benefit that works pretty well. I don't remember the name of it offhand but it comes in a pink tube.

Im definitely going to try some of these! Thanks girls. I have olive skin too and I hear its prominent in olive skinned people. If they ever come out with a miracle cream that works, I will spend my life savings on it lol

Re: Undereye Circles
in order to get rid of dark circles u have to understand what causes them.. in actuality very few people have dark circles due to fatigue, so getting 12 hours of sleep won't stop it..
i'd consider talking to an allergist or dermatologist for starters.. if you suffer from sinus issues that is most likely what is causing them..the pressure from your sinus infection presses on the blood vessels around your eyes, which can cause them to turn dark.
i also suffer from those dark circles and have started usin this creme they sold me on while i was on my cruise.. it seems to be working.. it's spose to help the sinus area to drain,so the fluid doesn't sit inn those pockets under my eyes..
oh and i've also heard that hylexin does NOT work.. or at least it doesn't show the same results on the eyes as what folks got from strivectin..

I'm with you girls on this... pharmacy school has killed my eyes, i have such bad dark circles! I'm going to be trying all of these creams before next year! Right now I've been using the yellow concealer from Physician's Formula and it works better than just regular concealer... HTH!
