undergarment question?

what is everyone wearing under their dress??? i know its a weird question but a couple people (mainly FMIL) have given me starnge looks when i told them i am not wearing stockings or closed shoes. i am hoping to just wear my blue undies from VS and my flip flops. i dont want a bra. i am going to have the seamstress just put the cups in the dress. is it 'trampy' not to wear stockings and closed shoes??? maybe i missed the boat

Im not wearing stockings either! I am wearing a girdle to suck in my fat and keep my 42 Ds under control

LOL, I WANT to wear stockings (thigh highs), but since that means I MUST wear closed toe shoes, I'm not so sure what to do.

Most of the shoes I've fallen in love with are peep toes (no stockings with those!). So if I end up with that, I'd be wearing open toe, no stockings.

Nothing wrong with that! I think it's pretty common these days to not wear stockings under the big dress

I am not wearing stockings either....I am wearing spanx to hold me in a bit and a strapless bra. I am struggling on whether to wear a regular strapless or a long line bra,...I just hate those things, but the seamstress said it would help hold my dress up.

I am npt wearing stockings. They annoy me and because my shoes are open toe slides.

I see that you are getting married in mid-July. I wouldn't wear stockings either.

Well, if it's trampy not to wear stockings and closed-toe shoes, then I'm a tramp! I don't even know what undies I'm wearing yet, and will probably get cups sewn into my dress. I'm wearing sandles.

I am personally not a fan of stockings and open toe shoes and since my shoes are open toes...I won't be wearing stockings. Since I don't have the largest chest my consultant pretty much told me a bra wasn't necessary so I will just have them sew some cups into my dress...in the hopes it will push up the barely there chest I have!

no way. that may be a more 'old fashioned' idea of a what a bride should wear under her dress, but Im not wearing either, though I will be wearing VS' seamless bustier to hold IN my 'gut' and hold UP 'my girls,' hehe.

I am definitely not wearing stockings!!! I hate them with a passion. They seem to pull in all the wrong places and plus in the middle of July, I am sure they would just add to the insane heat and humidity. As for other undergarments, I have to work on that.

I am not wearing stockings either. I figure the less I wear, the cooler (and happier) I will be in the middle of July. And I am wearing strappy shoes so my toes will bare (polished of course).

no stockings for me, its going to be august. 10 pounds of of poofy stuff sounds like enough to me.
