Undergarment question

Undergarment question

Ok, so my dress is strapless. I prefer to wear a bra, and I can wear either a longline or a strapless and be fine. But, if I buy Spanx, then does that mean I don't need a longline and a strapless would be fine? So confusing!

Depends upon which spanx you buy. Some stop at the waist, some go up to under your bust.

Talk to your seamstress they will help you decide what will look and work best.

I had planned on a long lined bra and then when I told her that she said no the dress wouldn't sit properly on it and built in a bra for me.

I really want to look into spanx but I can't try any on and I don't want to just buy one of each.

I would def talk to the seamstress about it because it might show. Also, I suggest wearing the least amount under your dress that you are comfortable with. I was hot!!!!! it was only in the low 60's on my day and I was still dying. My dress was so well altered that there was no need for a bra.

If your style is a corset dress then you're fine, a bra wouldn't be necessary. You can add breast petals or a bandeau from Victoria's Secret as well as lingerie stores for extra security. If your dress does not come with a built in corset or boning structure, see if your seamstress can have one sewn in for you. However, make sure you get fitted and feel absolutely comfortable in it.
