UNDERGARMENTS.

UNDERGARMENTS.

I'm going for my first fitting in August.
I know I'm supposed to have my shoes by then.
However, what about things like a bra, veil, etc?
Do I need to purchase one to go TO the fitting? I was thinking of having cup sewn into my gown.
Also, I want to pick my veil out while wearing my dress. I just can't see a veil and picture it looking good together. I Have to see it on. And I'm not sure I want to buy where I bought my dress from.
Did anyone buy a few veils (keeping the receipts) and pick out which one looked the best?
Overall, just kind of confused how to 'put it all together' after you find the dress.

Re: UNDERGARMENTS.

I picked out my veil when I picked out my dress (same place) went back recently to try on the sample dress and picked my headpiece. . Me and my mom went to Blums in Patchogue to get undergarments. The ladies there were very helpful. It was kind of old fashion they way they come in to help you and bring you stuff to try on and see if you get the results you are looking for.
So the answer to your question I think you should have your stuff before your first fitting this way they know what they are working with.

I am headed to Blums as well.

They are very good at what they do.

Bring everthing with you, I had the cups put in too, but i wound up removing the stitches and taking them out. The lift of the cups werent even close to the way the bra lifted me, It looked so much better with the bra.

The neckline of my dress is scalloped...I really don't want to buy something that might stick out or show the undergarment.

By bringing a picture alone, would these shops be able to find a suitable bra for me?

They should be but maybe you can go try the dress on before to get an idea of how low it is in the front and back.
