Undergarments...

Undergarments...

I need some help deciding what to get to wear under my dress, and my first fitting is tomorrow... im wearing a sweeheart strapless dress and am not sure if I should just wear a strapless bra, get a corset (but im nervous i will overheat) or just get cups put in (but i dont want to be adjusting myself all night...lol)

what are you ladies doing? Or do you suggest?

I would do cups but make sure that the bodice of the dress fits you to a T!! You don't want it to be loose at all if you put in cups.

I had cups put in and was adjusting all day long. It was a little annoying. Maybe a corset would be good.

ETA: I'd lost a couple of pounds right before the wedding so that was mostly the reason but I think I would have been adjusting anyway.

well....really depends how well endowed you are. i think if you are a fuller bride you might want more support rather than getting cups put in the dress. i personally got a corset cause its the comfort of knowing my girls will be tucked into place and supported. i got mine from bra tenders in the city. they are great. highly recommend them!

i am using a long line bra... i think it gives you a better shape and more support... i personally would be too self conscious if i went out without a bra... and as someone suggested in the past, it helped their posture

Thanks so much guys...I will probably just go to my fitting tomorrow and see what they suggest! They have undergarments I can purchase from them (will probably cost 3x's as much...but thats ok!

I'm wearing the same thing! Originally I wanted the cups but turns out that my dress is a little to heavy for that and they said I'd be adjusting all night if I had them.

see the corset is the way i want to go, but im nervous im gonna sweat my a$$ off. hmmm building the corset into the dress is interesting...may have to look into that one!
