Most girls buy off e'bay, my salon told me the same thing.
It's best if you call them before and ask them about what you're looking for. They do all sorts of undergarments for broadway shows and the like so they should have something for you.

i am not going to get my slip from my bridal shop, I called Davids Bridal and they have the slip I need for $49, that is $20 cheaper than where i am getting my gown from. shop around you will def find something way cheaper than your bridal shop.

YOu can do a search for peticoats and crinolines here is a website I found that had some items on sale. I'm sure if you search you may find cheaper. www.weddinglingeriegift.com

i'm getting mine from the shop where i bought my gown but i have heard of some good places online-- go to yahoo and do a search or try ebay. i wanted to see mine in person so i asked the person who was helping me with my gown what they thought would work best. i wanted a good amount of 'poof' and i needed the 'proper foundation' b/c i have smaller 'girls'
