So, I was kind of planning on not wearing a bra under my wedding dress. But my mother and my nosy co-workers are insisting that I must wear a brasalette or even a corset! under my gown. The top of my gown already had boning built into it and I was planning on having cups sewn into it so I could indeed go braless. I mean, would I look better with a longline bra as opposed to just having the cups sewn in? Anyone have any experience with this? Or any opinions? I just don't want to be wearing so much 'armour'. I'm already going to be weighed down with 9lbs of crinoline.

Re: Undergarments or none?
I bought a $60 corset and yada yada. Wore it for my first fitting. But there was a built in Corset in the dress with the bones in it as well. And the seemstress said to take off my longline bra, well it fit so much nicer it was ridiculous. I WENT BRALESS that day. WHOO HOOO.
I bought a 60$ freaking corset and I am not wearing it. My dress is A-line, and it has an empire waist line, so it flows out from right under my boobs. Any kind of corset wouldn't help b/c it's not tight fitting. Kind of pissed me off, but I guess I am glad I won't have to sweat with it on now hah
I would go with the cups sewn in, if you need it. Did you go for a fitting yet???
I was going to wear my corset, but after she took the dress in, it fits like a freaking glove. I am a 36 C and I don't need anything underneath.
Edit: Also, if you already have boning in a dress, I would skip any type of undergarment that has boning in it as well. IT will feel like you're ribs are being punctured all night long.

I haven't gone in for any fittings yet. I'm going to do that next month. The only thing I'm concerned about is my ta-ta's a lil on the small side. I mean, I don't want to look like a porn star or anything but, can they put push up cups in a dress?

Re: Undergarments or none?
the only thing i wore under my dress beside shoes & thighhighs was my white thong that said 'just married'
no WAY was i being uncomforable in a bra all night! some girls are fine with it, but i know myself and i would've been yankin' stuff up all night long! instead, my seamstress worked her magic. she actually put in two and 1/2 sets of cups! (hey - i wanted boobies on my big day )..ANYWAYS, she did two sets of regular cups....then took one cup & cut it in half(making two half moon shapes) and sewed one in on each side....pretty much creating a custom pushup it's crazy how awesome it worked! i made her take in my gown like it was a corset lol and EVERYTHING stayed in place...never had to adjust because the cups were sewn right to the gown, and the gown was super tight...felt like i had nothin' there!
and i just have to add(because i dont have the biggest boobs in the world)..when i got up to the alter, the DH goes 'wow - i like ur boobs' all while forgetting that he was mic'd for the video....nobody at the ceremony heard it, but guess what the funniest moment in our video is?? lol - i love that u can actually see a little classy cleavage in this pic & yet it's from a distance! u should totally go this route if ur contemplating a bra!
I ended up not wearing a bra, but the seamstress helped my b-cups out!

go with what Taryn said then. They can do anything you want! I think you will be most happy with the sewn in cups then. Then just make sure that they take it in enough so that it's tight enough that you wont have to pull up on your dress all night.

Re: Undergarments or none?
My dress holds the girls up well..and since this will probably be the only day in my life i can actually go braless,, I'm definitely going for it... haha!! If you don't NEED a bra under there, don't wear one...it will probably be more comfortable and cooler without one too.

Do those things help give clevage or is just to add more boob??? I tried them on once, and they were just not cutting it. I would like to know what exactly there purpose is.

Re: Undergarments or none?
You have to get the thick ones and to get the push up you put them in your bra - If you just wear them then it is more for just getting some boob -
I love them especially if you are wearing a tight shirt it will give you good cleavage - My FH laughs at em all the time - I am not flat but every once in a while like a little extra

Re: Undergarments or none?
I plan to go braless... I'm not big up top to begin with, so why make myself uncomfortable and add more to carry around that day when it looked perfectly fine with no bra on.
