Hey girls....I need a really good strapless waist cincher type of undergarment to give me some wedding day curves. I live in Oceanside....any suggestions for good undergarment stores that I should check out. I've gone to macy's and victorias secret and didn't have much luck. I was thinking about maybe going to more of a small boutique type of place but dont know of any! Any suggestions?!?!?!
Also....What are you guys wearing as undergarments... I've seen some online that I think are good but I don't know how curvy they can actually make me. I have a super straight body type and my dress is mermaid cut! The more curves I can get the better!

Re: undergarments...suggestionsssss
hey!!! i am on the hunt for one of these too!!! i am pretty sure my hips and waist are almost the same measurement and i want some killer curves in my dress (mermaid style)
i heard that a squeem is good. but i think it might be too heavy for the big day. fredericks of hollywood also sells one, but any time i have been there they don't have them in stock.
any suggestions would be great........
ETA: I am probably putting cups in my gown so i won't need to wear a bra that day.
TIA!

or
Georgette's Bra Girdle 964 South Broadway Hicksville, NY 11801-5019 (516) 433-7207
they have people come to personally fit you and figure out what you need which is great. however since you get personal attention there is usually a lonngggg wait

The only thing I'm wearing under my dress is a little pair of nude seamless panties from VS. I'm having cups built in and I'm not wearing any stockings or spanks. I need to be comfortable bc the dress is heavy enough lol

Bare Essentials Intimates on Sunrise Highway in Rockville Centre is a small boutique for lingerie. I got mine there.

I highly recommend Mary's Corsetieeres in Woodbury. I look soo tiny in my corset strapless, and its correctly fitted. If I recommend anything- Its to get the correct undergarment! Plus its soo comfortable!!

I need a great bra too!!! I want a good strapless push up. I don't have teeny boobs...but strapless bra's always seem to pull them down instead of push them up. My dress is corsette...so don't want a long bra. I need to breathe!!!

I have a corset back Maggie, and they advised a corset bra. I went for my fitting on Saturday and it was fabulous... It's made me look small waisted and really good!

whats the return policy at Mary's? i know at Georgetes you can only return for a store credit. im worried about buying a corset/long line for my dress before my first fitting and it not working with the gown but i know i need to bring a bra with me for the first fitting.

would you guys suggest spanx or a corset bra? my dress is a strapless mermaid and my goal is to squash my stomach and make my waist a bit smaller. i was looking at those high waisted spanx that basically come up to right under your boobs but now i am thinking maybe the corset bra might give better shape. thoughts?
