Does anyone know of an online store that sells cheap underwater cameras? FH and I were in CVS the other day and they were like $14 each. That's a little steep I think.
We are also thinking of buying an underwater casing for one of our cameras but from what I understand that can br pretty pricey.

Re: underwater cameras
B&H Photo (in the city) has them online for $7.99. I've gotten from there before and they worked great.

Re: underwater cameras
i'm not sure how much the underwater casings are, but imo i wouldn't trust them, my friends leaked and it ruined her camera, so not worth it
i think you're better of getting a throw away

Thanks, for that info. FH kept telling me that but I thought it was a great idea lol. I am going to check ebay.

Re: underwater cameras
THey are pretty pricey. Walmart has them for like $12-15.
your welcome...that was going to be my other suggestion to just get an inexpensive underwater camera, if you plan on using it a lot or a few times it's prob worth it!

I took a few underwater camera's and they ******. I think it's better to invest in a casing as opposed to buy underwater cameras for all of your trips.

Re: underwater cameras
I bought a professional casing for my camera a couple of years ago. No problems at all with it. It's a fantasea brand and I got it on ebay for about $175. It's worth every penny. The pictures come out so much better than with a disposable.
Also, hammacher schlemmer is now selling a snorkel mask with a camera built in that got rave reviews.

Re: underwater cameras
i bought a waterproof camera a couple months ago.... works great! it was only 250.. pentax option w60.... those disposable underwater ones work like crap.... before my new cam though, i had a waterproof bag-like thing that i put my reg cam in and it never leaked and it was something like $20
