underwear???

underwear???

so - i am totally lost when it comes to this - What kind of underwear do you have to wear under your wedding dres???

i am so confused.....

i guess i am a little naive that i thought a pair of VS would cut it - but i guess not. do i really need a corset? and garter belts?? and other weird contraptions??

what is everyone else wearing???

im just wearing cute undies... i think it depends on your dress and body with what type of underwear you need...

i dont think there are any traditions about under garmets, except for maybe the garter...

i will have on the same undies i wear everyday. they are comfy to me and on that day i don't want a thong riding up my arse.

there are no rules when it comes to this, whatever makes you happy.

pale blue thong - hanky panky makes the most comfortable ones ever. I can't imagine trying to pull off the whole garter belt thing when I already fear an attempt at the bathroom on my wedding day.

the whole going to the bathroom thing just made me think... i dont think i would want to wear a thong because what if you need help going potty with the dress... i think i would be too modest to flash everyone my thonged tushy!! im kinda shy ... i might have to go for those cute short panties...

I SAY IT DEPENDS ON YOUR DRESS! I AM TOTALLY GOING NOT TRADITIONAL! MY DRESS IS A BIG PRINCESS DRESS AND I AM NOT WEARING A BRA BECAUSE THE DRESS HOLDS ME IN, AND I AM GOING TO BE WEARING A VERY CUMFY PAIR OF SNEAKES THAT MY SISTER AND I ARE GOING TO STUD WITH STONES TO DRESS THEM UP A LITTLE! unless you don't plan on peeing that day... you might want to keep it simple. I plan on having hubby there when its time to disrobe... so something sexy/nice will be worn.

I'm having cups sewn into my dress, so there will be no need for a strapless bra with my spaghetti strap dress, and going with comfy VS undies. No garter toss, so I'm not worried about pantyhose etc. Knee highs for this girl!

I am wearing a corset but the lady who sold it to me said to wear comfy cotton underwear. She was funny. She said to change into sexy underwear before I leave the reception and FH will think I wore it the whole time. I will probably wear boy shorts, which would work with my dress.

I was told that I would have to wear one of those corset (sp?) things because it will look better, but I really think it depends on the dress and the body type. I've also heard that you can have the bra built into your dress, again it depends on the dress.
