IS ANYONE IN MY SITUATION ,WHERE THERE ARE MORE GUYS THAN GIRLS ? AT FIRST IT WAS EVEN 5 GIRLS AND 5 GUYS, BUT NOW I'M THINKING OF HAVING MY LIL SISTER(JR BRIDESMAID)WHO WILL BE 13 AT TIME OF WEDDING WALK ALONE WHICH I'M STILL NOT 100% ABOUT. WHAT CAN I DO WITH AN EXTRA GUY,DO I LET 2 GUYS WALK ONE GIRL ?

last yr my sister got married and my youger sister was 10 a jr bridesmaid and walked down by herself which i thought wa ok. I have also seen plenty of weddings that 1 guy 2 girls its fine. uneven bridal parties are big now. i have more girls then guys so i will be doing the same thing

We have an uneven BP as well.
I am having 5 girls and 4 guys, so my cousin who is 16 will walk alone.

Yup, I do! And, I am excited about it. Think of it this way - your BM is made up of the people you want to be closest to you on your special day. So, it is totally ok if that number is uneven between guys and girls, or if you have guys in your side of the BP and your FH has girls in his side of the BP, because these people aren't special to you and your FH because of their gender. My three closest and dearest girlfriends are my BM, my sister is my MOH, and my FH has a group of six guy friends who are his GM, and his brother is his best man. I kinda like the odds of two guys to one girl. I went to a wedding last year where the bride had a 'man of honor' and the groom had a 'best lady', because she wanted her only brother to stand up for her, and he wanted his sister to stand up for him. It was so so sweet. So, if tradition doesn't suit you, then I say, feck to tradition! (heehee, I couldn't wait to use that word. I hope I used it right!!)

Completely uneven... I'm having my sister and two small nieces and FH is having his 2 brothers and little nephew. I have no idea how I will work it yet

Mine is uneven - i think i'm having my two brothers walk my sister down to even it out a bit :)
THere's also the option of having everyone walk down alone too. Good luck :)

Same here, I also have 5 girls and 4 guys. One guy will walk with 2 girls.

My BP, if you can call it that, is Waaaayyyy uneven. Its just my MOH, and FOUR groomsmen. I don't really care how it looks, though.

Personally, I think worrying about the bridal party being exactlty even is a thing of the past. I also think you should err on the side of discretion rather than obsessing about whether the bridal party is 'even'. When I say 'discretion' I mean-I think it is a bad idea to choose someone who isn't a best friend, or someone who you are merely acquaintances with solely for the sake of having an 'even' numbered party. I am not getting carried away with that at all because I am having my sister (and only sibling) as my MOH and my FH is having his 2 brothers as best men. I don't want to have a wedding photo (which I will have forever) of people I have lost touch with, etc. I say-choose your wedding party with this in mind and don't worry about the # being even. Good luck!

Me too!!!! Except one of the groomsman maybe dropping out He's my FH 'little brother' from Big Brother program and they haven't spoken in weeks.

My MOH and two brothers will be standing on my side of the bridal party. My FH is having his sister (I call her a BM anyway) and two brothers stand on his side at the church. Each lady will be escorted by their 2 brothers or 2 cousins. I think they are both looking forward to it and I love the whole idea of a woman being escorted by a guy on each arm!

Our bridal party will have 7 guys and 6 girls. My cousin will be walking in with two groomsmen. I recently saw a wedding with an uneven bridal party and it looked fine.
