I was just wondering if anyone is having an uneven bridal party? So far I have one Maid of Honor and 3 bridesmaids and my fiance will have one Best Man and 4 groomsmen. I could ask another friend, but she's lives overseas and it would be easier not to. Does it really matter if they are all paired up? Thanks!

My bridal party is going to be uneven and so was my MOH's when she got married. It doesn't matter. I'll have 1 or 2 girls walk in between 2 guys.

Our bridal party is uneven. I have 9 girls and FH has 5 guys...we will just double up. It meant more to me to have who I wanted rather than cut people to make it even. And same to my FH - he didn't want to add people just for the sake of numbers. Do what you feel comfortable with and it will be great!

I had an uneven bridal party and it was lovely - my cousin was lucky and she got to walk with two guys! I honestly think that you shouldn't ask someone for the sake of asking them - it's an inconvience and expense to both of you!
I had an uneven party and one BM walked with 2 GM...

We had an even bridal party, but we have just lost one of the ushers. Apparently he has fallen off the face of the earth, so I guess hes not in the wedding. Anyway, I have 2 MOH's, I am having them both walk with the best man. They are both married, so for the first dance, one will dance with the BM and one can dance with her husband.

My BP is uneven. My side has one guy (my brother is my 'man of honor) and 4 girls, and his has one girl (sister/best woman) and 3 guys. My side are walking separately down the aisle, while his will already be up in the front. On the way back, one of the guys will have a girl on either side. However, at the reception, we are introducing my brother, then his sister, then all the bridesmaids are walking in together, and all the groomsmen are walking in together, rather than in couples. For the dance, I think we are going to go right from us, to our parents joining, and then everybody joining, skipping the bridal party joining in alone. Some of them don't have dates, and the ones that do would much rather dance with their dates than with their BP partner....so hopefully this will work out!

My BP is uneven. The guys will be at the alter with FH, the BMs will walk down alone. Then one of the guys will escort 2 BMs up the aisle after our mass.

We are uneven too. My side will have 6 and FH's has 7. I think FH's best man (his brother) will stand with him at the front and then everyone will be paired to walk up the isle. My MOH will walk up with my brother...I know usually the MOH walks by herself by my MOH is really kind of shy about having all eyes on her so I think she will be more comfortable this way. Then she will walk back with both brothers. For the first dance I think I am going to have my brother dance with my friend who is doing our readings. (I wanted her to be a BM but she was not comfortable with being in a BM dress).

I FEEL THAT YOU SHOULD DO WHATEVER YOU FEEL LIKE DOING IT IS YOUR WEDDING AND IF THERE ARE SPECIAL PEOPLE IN YOUR LIFE YOU SHOULD HAVE THOSE PEOPLE BE PART OF YOUR DAY.. I THINK IT MAKES A WEDDING MORE UNIQUE WHEN YOU DO DIFFERENT THINGS.. DON'T LET TRADITION PUT A BLOCK ON HOW YOU WANT YOUR SPECIAL DAY.. FOR EXAMPLE I AM HAVING MY PICTURES DONE BEFORE THE CHURCH, BUT THE VIDEO GUY SETS IT UP SO MY FI WILL BE SURPRISED :)

Want to hear uneven?!!! I need to post pictures soon so you can see!!! But we had 4 girls, 10 guys & 2 ring bearers!! My 2 sisters were MOH & waked alone, my 2 Bridesmaids each was escorted by one of my brothers, his brother was best man & waled back down aisle alone, & we had 2 sets of 2 guys & a set of 3 guys walk together!!
