uneven bridal party

Do the bridal party couples have to be coupled? does it look wierd to have more girls than guys or vice versa?

I didnt think so. I had 4 girls and DH had 6 guys. It looked fine in the pics.

it doesnt have to be even...I have tried explaining this to Lou...He thinks it looks bad, for me, I dont care!

these days, you can do whatever you want.

i'm the queen of uneven - 4 groomsmen (all best men according to FH), 1 MOH.

then I am doing my nieces and nephews - all little kids, six of them.

i dont have even. i have 6 girls and 4 guys. i'm just going to pair 2 of the girls together for the recessional and being announced--they dont care theyre sisters anyway

Mine were waaaaaayyyy uneven. 6 girls and 11 guys. Pictures came out fine. Honestly, in the end no one pays attention to them anyway...they're looking at you and your FH.

I have 5 girls and 7 guys. But my youngest brother is 9 and will be walking my grandma's down the aisle so he really isn't walking in with the bridal party per say (but he gets the tux, pics with bridal party etc)

so really walking down the aisle is 5 girls and 6 guys...i will probably pair up 2 guys with one girl idk?

unless we figure something else out before then

ME and my dad

think that is how it goes

we have 5 girls & 6 guys, the best man is going to escort my mom down the aisle so its even- but I have seen plenty of bridal parties where two girls walked with one guy or vice versa- it looks fine

I don't think so at all. You can always make it work....The beauty of getting married in 2008 is that no rules apply (mostly). It's our wedding and we can do what we want to make it more personal to who we are as couples.

Did that even make sense?

I have 7 girls FH has 11 guys. I have two MOH's he has one BM so we are all over the place.
We figured out how it will work out for walking and announcements. To me it was important to have the people close to us and not ask extra girls just to fill spots or him not have some people in it.

It doesnt matter at all - i had 6 girls and 5 guys and then FH decided to ask his soon to be BIL and then it evened out

Not at all. This happens to many bridal parties, I believe. We have an extra girl - but she's my jr. bridesmaid age like 11, so she wants to walk with the two 3 year old flower girls which works out well for us.

it doesn't really matter... my friend had 10 BMs and 5 GM for her wedding party. during the recessional each GM escorted two BMs out. in the pics they just had them stand differently.
