I am hoping you ladies can help me solve my bridal party dilemma. The problem is that it is very uneven. My fiance has a lot of very very good friends and will be having approximately 14-16 groomsmen. I on the other hand will have between 6-7 bridemaids. I do not want to cut any one from my fiance's side and I want to somehow make this work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

If the numbers work out, you can have each lady walk down with 2 men. If they don't and you still have extra men, you can always start out with just a guy walking, 2 men for each woman, then another guy walking out at the end before your maid of honor and flower girl.

Mine is uneven. I think its fine if its uneven. You can always have two guys walk down one girl.

If he has 14 and you have 7, 2 guys for every girl! Also have the best man be with the groom and the maid of honor walk alone behind the bridal party - that can help even some things out. If he has brothers maybe have them stand with him and the best man and line everyone else up. 2 guys walking 1 girl down could be really cute and solves the problem

Re: Uneven Bridal Party
you have the perfect amount to do 2 guys per girl even if you didnt i wouldnt stress over it...your bridal party should be your closest friends/family...not about making an even number so that pics look good we had an uneven party (DH had 6 and i had 4) and it was fine to make it work, the MOH & BM walked down as a pair, and then the couple that introduced us walked down as a pair...and the other 2 girls got 2 guys with them.

Re: Uneven Bridal Party
I have a very uneven bridal party too. I have 2 bridesmaids and one MOH and my FH has 5 groomsman and one BM.
So what i'm doing for the processional is having either the guys walk in first than the girls or one guy solo first than two guys for each of the BM than the MOH walks in solo. And than the recessional will have two guys to each girl.
Remember his best man will be already with him waiting so thats one less guy unless you want him to walk down the aisle too.

Ive seen the guys stand at the front with the groom and the girls walk down alone. That is an option too if you are struggling with this.

I had 8 girls and 4 guys....it looked great despite being uneven! Every lucky guy had 2 girls on his arm!

Re: Uneven Bridal Party
Our BP was uneven. 10 GMs to 5 BMs. We had each girl walk with 2 GMs, except the MOH who walked alone. And one of the GMs who was my cousin walked my momma down the aisle. It worked out for pictures and everything just fine.

Re: Uneven Bridal Party
Thank you all for your great suggestions! I think we are going to have the MOH and best man walk down together and then the remaining bridesmaids and groomsmen can just walk down solo. I would double up, but the aisle in the church is a little narrow. Thanks again!!

this is best for the left over guys that run out after two with one girl.. then the MOH can walk with them back at the end.. by then no one will be paying attention if there is one left alone -- they will be staring at you!!
