Unexpectedly Productive Wedding Weekend!!!

Unexpectedly Productive Wedding Weekend!!!

I am shocked at how productive my weekend was with wedding stuff, considering that I thought we weren't going to do anything!

Yesterday I did a drop by at my local florist, and they're going to do some research for me and get back with a price quote sometime this week. I would have liked to have gotten one johnny on the spot, but I'm in no big rush for flowers.

Most importantly, our panic attack was put to rest, the finances have been figured out, and I am STILL a 12/5 bride. More importantly, still an 09-er! It didn't look too promising for a few days.

Then today we went to VL to drop off our second payment and to add FH to the contract, and while we were there, mentioned how we had a concern that we wouldn't be able to taste their greek dishes for CH since they don't offer tastings, they don't offer them at the showcases, and the restaurant doesn't serve it. Our new BM then informed us, by sheer cooincidence, they were having a greek wedding there tonight, and that they were having pastitio during CH, so to come back at night and they would arrange something for us!!! We were so happy, because we thought it was really great and accomodating of them to do that for us, as it's usually not the standard.

So to kill time before we had to go back, we did some shopping, and I convinced FH to go to BBB to start our registry! As it turned out he realy liked it, and I let him scan as I just pointed. BUT he wouldn't let us scan any appliances (besides my beloved red kitchen aid mixer) because he wants to do 'research'. I see a lot more spreadsheets and powerpoints in my future

AND we picked our china too!!!

Lenox Bellina...in person it's not dark like this at all, so I have no clue why it photographed so dark. I'm not big into china, so we decided fairly quickly. Then back for the impromptu tasting, which was delicious, so we have no concerns about the greek dishes at all now.

I'm still a little shocked we did that much, and that FH kept his whining to a minimum. Dare I say girls, we're making some progress!
