Uninvite a bridal party member HELP

Ok so here's my dillema. I feel I chose my bridal party too early. I was excited and people seemed excited at the time and two volunteered themselves and one I actually asked at the beginning of the year. Needless to say two out of the three have been flaking about going with me to see dresses and never asked if I needed their help for anything. I know my wedding is a while from now but one particular BM, I planned with twice to go looking for dresses and she flaked each time. Meanwhile a good friend of mine heard my frustration and when with me. I had consider making her bridesmaid but I really wanted to keep my party small. I wonder should I add her and just keep moving I know she's down for helping or add her and eliminate one of the other people? What to do or do nothing. One is my cousin (volunteered herself), one is my very good friend practically my bestie who recently got married (asked her) and the other is my best friend from high school who I still speak to and she's actually interested. My friend who went dress shopping with me has been a bridesmaid many times and seems actually really up to the task. Help me thanks.

Since she has helped u more than anyone I say invite her. I also say don't kick anyone out unless you really had to bc of the stress u will endure afterwards. If she may get mad and ruin ur friendship. You may not need that extra stress right now. So just make all the decisions without her and let her just go along for the ride.

another suggestion is to not ask her to be a BM if you really want to keep your BP small, but make an honorable mention of her at the wedding.

i have a friend that i actually did ask to be a BM, but she declined for financial and other reasons, but is still helping me out a great deal with wedding details... so i plan on making a honorable mention to her during the wedding and also getting her something nice as a 'thank you'

Invite her then. I wouldn't cause any drama by kicking anyone out unless they did something horrific.. I have one who has done 0 but at this point, I don't care. Let her show up, put her dress on and who knows, after the wedding the friendship my dwindle out on it's own.

If you say you feel you asked the original 3 girls too early why would you consider asking another girl 16 months before?

Imo, you should leave it as is and see what happens in the upcoming months.

I wouldn't kick anyone out ... though i might offer them a way to get out of the BP (say that you understand if they are too busy / poor to be a BM and you don't want to pressure her into anything)

if you think you're going to regret not asking the other friend to be a BM, then you should def ask her.

i wouldn't kick anyone out unless you are prepared for the drama, hurt feelings and the possibility of losing a friendship

I also agree with Adri and I wouldn't add anyone just yet

I'd wait until the time you are ready to buy BM dresses....and if you still feel the same about this girl then you should ask her
