This post was at the request of my friend. She is having a New Year's Eve party and she wants to make sure that each guest invited does not bring other people. She is sending invitations and will be putting the name of the guest on the invite but she just wants to make sure that these people do not bring other people. How do you think she should word this or what should she do about this not happening?

Re: Uninvited Guests To A Party
Is there a way she can get the word around that it's not an open house type party? Maybe if she asks for her guests to RSVP she can tell them when they call her.

Re: Uninvited Guests To A Party
She is going to just have to be blunt and tell people.
Is this a house party or is she having it elsewhere?
It has been my experience that people always tend to bring other people, they just think its ok, sometimes it is, and sometimes not.
She needs to make this clear.

She said that she is now going to write on the invitation 'Please do not bring friends for we only have limited space'.

how about Invitation only or she can just write on the bottom as you said due to limited space invitees only.
