Ok now im up to the decorating part and have alot of ideas but still looking for different things too. I also see so many gorgeous things but not my color scheme so why not share some of the things i see with others who can use it and hopefully others will post things others can use too, i am hoping to maybe see something that will help me.

i can't do wedding programs either.. too much work.. i'm just going to type it all up and get it printed from somewhere.. just not happening with 86 days left..

I LOVE the crayon boxes as card holders for kids!! I may just do that, and then have a stack of coloring books on the table waiting for them

I don't know if this counts as a personal touch, but at our engagement party, we had this as our cake topper:

A friend of mine got married in October and she had candied apple in an orange bowl as centerpiece with fall leaves surrounding it. I couldn't find a pics of it... sorry. Here are some pics in my folder...
we did a coloring book and the front cover was the two of us as a coloring page.. i did it on photoshop, really easy. i'll try to find it and post a pic.. unfortunately we did them for the kids not realizing how many of our adult friends are 'kids at heart' and they took them from the kids.. our activity pack also included some glow sticks (u know the kind they sell at concerts that u crack and then they glow) a suduku wipe on book and some crayons and other knick nacks.. all purchased at michaels from their dollar section.. the kids LOVED it.

We have Bride and Groom Smurf!!!!!!!! The weekend we got engaged we went down to the Jersey Shore and there was toy store that had all these smurfs -- My sister got us Bride and Groom and they have so much meaning because we used to collect smurfs with my aunt when we were little!

I absolutely love your menu idea, the one with the circle in the middle of the dish...and I actually planned on incorporating sparklers somehow since I am getting married on the 4th of July...you gave me a great idea...thank you

We're releasing butterflies at the end of the ceremony. We're also putting our engagement picture on a piano surrounded by pictures of our parents and grandparent's wedding pictures.
