Unique Hair...Looking for a wedding day stylist

Unique Hair...Looking for a wedding day stylist

I have extremely fine hair, and my hair is also very thin. To top it off my hair is also very blond, and it looks dark and clumps together when people use hairspray on it. The only style my hair does well is down and pin straight (which I do basically every day).

I would like to do something different with my hair on my wedding day, but every time I've gone to a stylist for a formal occasion I've been unsatisfied. I usually end up looking like my hair is greasy and glued to my head, like a Christmas bow (you can see straight through all the curls in my updo), or I lose any curl within an hour and my hair looks dull and droopy.

Stylists say they can handle my hair...but I've yet to find one that really can. Does anyone know such a hairstylist or have any other ideas? Thanks!

have you tried extensions to make it fuller?

I have...but the extensions are either too heavy and slide out of my hair, or you can literally see where they are attached through my own hair (not pretty). Maybe there are other extensions out there that would work... I've been thinking about that.

My FSIL has very thin, straight blonde hair and she used extensions on her wedding day just in the back ... you couldnt tell and they looked amazing!!!! Good luck!!

Good Idea! Here is the best picture I have on the computer right now. Not the best, but maybe you can get an idea.

I have very fine hair and one of my bridesmaids has very long, fine, thin hair (very much like yours). i used hairsculpting by renee and my hair was FLAWLESS the whole night! my bridesmaid is now using her as a hairstylist because she was so impressed that her hair (which was down) stayed curled! i was thrilled because my hair always falls out of its style within an hour, and it looked perfect the whole time.

my sister (the one with the short hair) did NOT get her hair styled:
