Unique Honeymoon Locations!

Where is everyone going on their honeymoon? Anywhere unique?

We are going to New Zealand for almost 3 weeks! (I can't wait!)

Greece (Athens, Mykonos & Santorini) for 10-12 days.

trying to get to East Africa on Safari but they raised their rates 30% for an already very EXPENSIVE trip!... We'll see what they have to say! The price BETTER come down!

New Zealand - is great i lived there for 2 months - make sure you go dolphin swimming at kaikora - it is amazing

If you are a diver - go divng in Milford sound - if not - the nontouristy sound is doubtful and it is amzing - much better then milford beside the diving

Kayaking was great in the abel tasman - we had seals doing tricks right around our kayaks

It is a georgeous countryside - definelty worh renting a car and driving it because it is so pretty and different over each hillside

Oh one word of acaution if you plan on doing a lot adventure stuff -trust your instincts if things are not right -there is no way to sue for personal injury if you get seriosly hust - they have a statutory scheme which is not that great for foreigners (can you tell istudied law there) But it is grreat to try some of the crazy things that they can do - they bungeee jumping froma parasail, much higher height for sky diving, and other random things that they think of -most in queenstown

oh make sure you pack in layers can be cold at anytime - we had four seasons of weatehr in one day

Hey you NZ girls, I'm going there too! First we're stopping the Cook Islands for four days to zone out right after the wedding, then on to New Zealand.

SnowPrincess, can you answer something for me? People keep saying to go kayaking or diving, but I'll be there in November, so it's just spring. Won't it be too cold then go in the water?

honestly it is cold to go in the water anytime - i went swimming fromthe end of february till april- some days it felt warm enough to go swimming but other days it did not but we went anyway - we were there had to

But they always had all the proper equipement - the day we went swimming with dolphin was about 50 degrees out a dn theis i the end of february - supposed ot be similar to end of august - but they had full wet suits and gloves and booties

i recommend bringing your own mask and snorkel if you have it though for dolphin swimming

they also had a hot shower when you got off if you were freezing -and hot chocalate

everything i did - they always had the proper gear - so don't worry about the water it is fine

I don't know if you are planning on doing any of the overnight teks - they are beautiful but you really have to have the proper gear- which means good hiking shoes and long johns even in the summer

oh one indoor thing to do in christchrch is the antartic center -it is nice to do for a morning - just ake sure to wear pants- they have a cool weather room

We are going to!Forrest Hills, GA ! They have horseback riding, white water rafting, ATV's, and a hot tub in every room!

I'm not a beach/water/cruise person. Its a lot of outdoors stuff that we like to do. Pretty inexpensive too

We're thinking of the Iberian peninsula/Northern Morocco (but don't know yet which towns we'd hit), or Norway and Sweden. But we're nowhere near making a decision yet, so I don't know specifics.

We also went to New Zealand, after a week in French Polynesia - heaven!!! I think DH slightly preferred French Polynesia, but I'd go back to NZ in a heartbeat!

Kiwi -- I lives in SPain 13 years so if you need any info, let me know. Been to Morrocco a few times too.

My niece is in New Zealand right now and sends me awesome stories and pics -- she's very adventurous!

We are going to Barbados -- I travel to Europe a lot for work, and the way the Euro is right now, no thanks.

Been to South Africa too, and Brazil... Tunisia -- soon to Egypt!

We did one week in Australia -- diving the Great Barrier Reef off a resort called Lizard Island and then several days on a resort in the rain forest there. Then to NZ for 4.5 weeks -- incredible. Please FM me if I can provide any advice.

And we are heading to the Galapagos in the next couple of months +/- trip to Alaska. We love to travel and no babies so lots of trips!

Well, even if we were beach people, its huricane season. There is a lot to do there. We are also going to Forrest Hills, GA ]Stone Mountain Park[/L] for one day. And, if you wanted to spend an extra few days, there's a lot to do in Atlanta. We are getting the Contemporary Cabin. Looks a little nicer.

I'm excited even though everyone says, 'You're going to Georgia?'
