Unique Housewarming Gift?

My closest friend (MOH) just moved into a new apt in San Fran. I want to send her something for her new place...her first own place.

She has very eclectic different taste. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated!!!

oh, i have an idea!! i have an idea!

one of our first visitors (my cousin) when we moved into our new home brought us this set to grow a paperwhite plant.

(it includes 2-4 bulbs, rocks, and a very cute square glass vase type thing...)

you plant the bulbs, add some water and then keep it in a cool, dark place for two weeks. after two weeks the growth is AMAZING...then you leave it out and watch it grow literally an inch a day...it's so crazy...my husband and i both had so much fun with this great, unique gift...i think my cousin got it at pottery barn for around 20-25 bucks. well worth it. (IMO)

My mom brought me over a basket of goodies...it was soo cute!!

It had things like detergent, snacks, tape, wrapping paper, stamps, different types of condiments/foods that I like...ketchup, teddy graham cookies.. and lots more..

She put in it whatever she thought I would use/need..

One of my favorite gifts were these photo coasters. They are really funky glass coasters where you can slide in pictures so that they show through the glass. They were from Crate & Barrel, and I get a TON of compliments on them.
