Unique Ideas for displaying place cards

Hi girls...Just went to a beachy wedding where the place cards were in these huge white rectangle boxes filled with sand and sea shells...really different and amazing for effect. Anyone else seen some cool things from friends/family weddings...??

We're using the standard cars that the Met Club provides and pinning them to pears (either brown or green depending on the color BM dresses) I'm also attatching crystals. a pic is worth a thousand words

Well, we're going to use pears since our theme is 'A Perfect Pair'. I think I got that pics from the Jean M website under DIY. I think they're selling the white pins
