I really want to do some sort of unity ceremony but I don't want to do a candle or sand ceremony. Any ideas?

Re: Unique ideas for unity ceremony?
I just saw on 4 weddings that they did a wine blending ceremony, they mixed two wines and then sipped from the mixed cup. I thought it was really cute and different.

hmmm what about something that you can incorporate that you can keep? i am very into things that you dont throw out LOL (if that makes sense)
if you dont want to do the sand ceremony...how about....the lasso? have you ever heard of that? its a latin tradition...it is where a lasso or large rosary bead is placed around both of you guys during the ceremony...that is suppose to signify unity... you should google it for more info...just a thought..
i will check to see if i find anything else!!

We did a hand fasting for a unity ceremony. People remarked that they had not seen that before.

I do like that idea.. my cousin did something similar. Her husband is Filipino and there is a similar tradition in his culture.. so doubt I'll end up doing that one!! Thanks for the ideas!
