Unique Irish Wedding Favors

We are getting married March 15, 2003. Our wedding will have a subtle St. Patrick's theme as we are both very Irish. Can anyone point me to some unique Irish wedding favors? I cannot find any true keepsake items out there.

What about 'Irish' Christmas Ornaments. Those you can get at an Irish Shop around.

Re: Unique Irish Wedding Favors

I am getting married on March 22, 2003 the weekend after St Paddys Day and I am also doing alittle bit Irish/Celtic theming.

I was thinking of doing ornaments (which dont have to be on a christmas tree, can hang in a window or on a wall) with our names and date ingraved on the back.

Here are 2 sites that have them:

ON this first site they have the claddagh, which seems to be the cheapest

http://www.houseofmurphy.com/weddingdayitems.htm

this second one has a celtic cross on it, but more expensive

So it all depends on my budget for what we will do, If you find any other good sites or somewhere in LI with better prices let me know.

good luck
Kimberly

PS if you think of any other ideas for Irish favors or theme related wedding stuff let me know, thanks

That is a beautiful idea. Are your girls wearing green? You could incorporate shammrocks in your centerpieces and bouquets. Also, have a claudaugh on your invites with shamrock seals.
I think this is a beautiful idea. Oh, and play 'When Irish Eyes are Smiling'
