I saw a show once where they did a 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' shower. The favor was a martini glass filled with blue jelly beans. The girl's and bride and possibly the guests wore black cocktail dresses and white pearls. The color scheme was tiffany blue and white.
I don't really remember more details sorry. but you could run with the theme.. centerpieces: tiffany blue boxes w/ the white ribbon filled with white flowers. The invites ..same blue w/ white ribbon.

or... Mardi Gras.. I see your wedding is in April. depends on when your shower is planned.

or.. how about a theme based on your honeymoon destination.. or a romantic country.. france, italy.. or each table could be a country and the centerpiece and table setting could relate.

since you love 'Friends' you could do a 'Friends' showered theme!


or breakfast at tiffanys, sex and the city, a cooking theme, etc

a wine theme... with a wine well.. and wine favors yum!!

i'm doing a mexican theme- at a mexican resturant- complete with pitchers of sangria and margaritas at every table and - tiny catcus plants in pots for favors!!!

my theme matches my wedding-glitz and glamour,
but originally i wanted a marilyn monroe theme-but i think it only works for a non traditional crowd-i thought cute marilyn change purses as favors and marilyn wine bottles as game winner gifts
