hey girls, what did you do for STD that werent magnets or plain pictures, i want to do something different, our wedding color so far is pink
any suggestions??

ive seen puzzles, like its a pic of you and fh and the guest puts together the std, ive also seen like movies of a couple that are on cds as the std, also you could do like keychains and whatnot
but i think the magnet is just the easiest for everyone thats just my opinion, not to say that the other ones arent cute but id hate to see all your effort thrown away

We did bookmarks--FH and I are both big dorks and love books.
On one side it said 'You're Booked!' with our date and cute pictures of us. On the other, it had our info. I'll try to upload a picture later.

no yea well, i agree on the magnets, except my FH brother is getting married 6 months before and there doing magnets, so i would like ours to be different. otherwise were all going to be on the refrig at the same time? ya know what i mean?
I love magnets -because everyone displays them. If you have a card, people are more likely to misplace them or throw them out. JMO

I see you're at VYC. My friend did a 'message in a bottle' for her beach wedding. She put the info on a little scroll tied with a ribbon inside a bottle with a little sand and some shells inside. Really cute but time consuming and possibly costly...

FH got a STD from his friend that was a magnet, but it was like a ticket to a concert. it had their wedding as the title of the event, time, date, location, etc. all the things u would find on a sports ticket or a play ticket. i thought it was a cute and different idea.

i just got my STD postcards in the mail yesterday. If people want to actually save the date for your wedding, they will prob just hang the postcard or photocard up. Another memorable STD idea is to go to a videographer and have them shoot a save the date video for you guys. It will be like your own personal little movie asking people to save the date. I think that is so memorable that people will remember it and save your date right away.
