Unique ways to.....

Hi all. I was an avid user of Brides Helping Brides. But now I am married-7/6/03 and we are planning a family. What are some unique ways to tell my husband that we are having a baby? I'm not pregnant yet just getting the scoop. Thanks a lot!

I tried to plan this whole event, but when I found out I was pregnant here is what happened:
At 10:30pm I decided that if I took a stupid test my period would come the next day and I could get this agony over with (waiting is REALLY hard). I had wasted $$ on tests before just to get my period an hour later so I figured this was a good bet. Well out of no where a saw the fainst line possible and I stood dead in my tracks. I called my best friend really quietly (DH was upstairs) and told her 'I think I see a line' she said 'what do you mean you think? it is either a line or not a line' but honestly it was super faint, so she said take another one in the morning. You should be able to see a strong line in the morning if you are pregnant. That whole night I didn't say a word because I didn't want to get DH excited just to let him down again. Well I woke up at 4:30am and just had to take the 2nd test and the lines appeared pink and strong. I started to cry, woke DH up and said 'look. do you see this too. do you see the lines or is it just me' I was balling, DH and I were hugging and then we went back to sleep. It was a perfect moment and I wouldn't change a thing.

For several days I kept telling my DH I think I'm pregnant - I should take a pregnancy test. Well since it was the first month we were trying he thought I was the boy who cried wolf. So he thought I should wait a week before I took a pregnancy test. Well I lasted two days before I snuck off and bought a test. I took the test and lo and behold I was pregnant.

So that night when my DH came home from work I had the whole house lit up with candles and the biggest bouquet of flowers for him. When he walked in he had the biggest smile on his face - he instantly knew before I even said anything. We just could not stop smiling!

How about cooking a dinner of all 'little' things? Petit Filet, baby carrots, baby potatoes....mini cheesecakes for dessert...

Honestly, mine went like this: um guess what....????!!!!!!
