Wanna know what some of you are doing that might be a bit different. Normally i am not a big traditional person but for the wedding i became traditional lol. I want a few things that stand out though
Ideas i have
Blue shoes or something besides white/ivory shoes
also thinking blue jewelry but not sure how unique that is.
Fh wants to put a camo vest on and he would love to also put sneakers and a hat on but not sure how his family will like that lol...Anways i thought maybe later on that i might change into sneakers.
still trying to come up with other things though

There are many choices of acid dyes to use. You can actually use an all-purpose dye, such as Rit brand dye, since it contains some acid dye, though the final color is often not quite as expected. You can use food coloring if the color(s) you want happen to be represented among the readily available forms of food dye, such as unsweetened Koolaid drink mix.
The best results, the brightest and most washfast, will probably be obtained by ordering some high quality acid dyes from a company such as Fiber-arts.com or PRO Chemical & Dye. I particularly recommend PROchem's Lanaset dyes, especially when the desired final color is black. Like other acid dyes, the Lanaset dyes should be steamed into the fabric.
Be sure to carefully follow the instructions provided by the retailer from which you buy your dye.

i luv her gloves they're so funny, the halloween theme is really cool! i couldn't do something like that though my mama would kill me, lol!
the RB came out with a litlte vampire cape--it was adorable!!
plus her mom did their wedding cake for them and it was like a cemetery theme.
oh and her MOH/twin sister and her DH, and FIL--all got up and performed like 2 sets of rock music...and she got up on the mic and sang! truly the most unique & fun wedding i'ever been to!

I am wearing Doc Marten boots instead of fancy shoes...
I'll probably dye my crinoline either blue or match it to my bridesmaids.
I'm hoping to have the guys wear Chucks instead of dress shoes.

well the colors that I am thinking of are a bit untraditional ...
also - I would LOVE to have blue pearls and/or jewelry since I think I'm going to go with white champagne gown/white flowers ... all white (ish) for me and then the girls will have
platinum or pewter gowns with magnolia sashes and bold flowers ...
we are also have a cigar roller and I would LOVE to have Mr. Met to surprise FH!!
also for CPs - small pumpkins carved out (not like faces, just the guts removed) to hold some of the flowers

I want to join in!!!!
1- FH, FFIL, and GM's are wearing Converse all stars (Chucks) 2- FH and some GM's are wearing studded belts (2 row pyramid belts) 3- All BM's are being given matching Puma Flip Flops ((really comfty)) to wear for the reception 4- FH bought me WHITE Chucks with pink double tounge Chucks to wear for the reception!! I am having them embroidered at the mall with our date! 5-We are doing our own centerpieces,, and have a 'special plan' for the RH decor,, (cant say on here in case of lurkers). 6- My ceremony shoes will be Fushia to match our colors
