unique wedding album...

Original post by AmyKay

My FH and I are looking for a unique, modern wedding album.. we went to a bridal show and saw Park Ave. Studio with a cool album..but we are having a hard time with them (they keep having to cancel our appointment, Snow, ect.). All the other Photographers we have seen don't know anything about this type of album. All they have are albums that remind me of my parents album from 1970..

Anyone getting a unique wedding album or know a photographer who offers something a little different from the norm.????

We're using Verdi and are getting their 'storybook' album. Its a bit different from the rest and it's very unique looking IMO. They are using real pictures though and not digitalized. I prefer the look of real pictures.

I used VIP and am very pleased with everything...not sure what mins knows...but I can refute it...

I just saw at John's studio the coffee table book and it is a box that opens and there are photos mounted on a thick cardstock...then you can flip through the pictures...they are not connected...so you determine the order...

I'm not sure how big they are, but he told us they are used more for the parents...since there aren't many pictures (maybe 20 or so) but I'm sure they make them larger...since my wedding had already come and gone....I didn't dig too deep into it...

good luck

I know ADA Studios does this type of album also. I think it's called Scrapbook or Library. We jst went with the traditional.

I have finally started to talk to photographers who offer or at least know about these types of books.
The book I want is called 'Soho'

Oh I love that album you posted Shamma. Though I agree with the post I would not go by the albuum but the quality of their work.

Franklin Square Photographers creates an album just like the one I just saw posted here. My brother used them (a more traditional album) and they were very satisfied with the results. They do all digital work now.

The best company to create this type of album is Digicraft. Their website is www.digicraftonline.com

You have to go through a photographer to have Digicraft create the album. If your photographer does not offer this type of album as an option, there is an online company that will act as the middleman and its site is www.albumart.com Price per page is pretty expensive, but the company does offer more cost effective packages

There are other companies out there that do this type of work but Digicraft is the best.
