Does anyone know where to go for unique or funky invitations. For example, scroll invitations or oak Tag (The really thick poster board material). I don't want a run of the mill invite.

Contact Tessa at Evenstar paperie. She can make you whatever you want. I wanted a certain linen type paper and she got it for me.

No prob.
Here is a link she sent to me of ALL The samples she made for me to pick from. She makes you fill out an extensive 'idea inventory' paper that includes 'what kind of paper stock do you like?' 'Do you like rhinestones? Do you like a more natural feeling.'

Thanks everyone! Most of the stuff on the web seem pretty boring. I'm shocked that the internet isn't more resourceful for such a thing.

Re: Unique/Funky Invitations
We went to a wedding this weekend where the invitations were very funky and gorgeous. They were rectangle shapped and done on thick, hard white paper with silver lining on the edges, the font was modern black ink, and there was a silver foil emblem of the bride and groom's initials on the top center. Then the back had a pattern on it with the bride and grooms initials throughout. This wedding was mega expensive so I'm sure their invites cost a lot but it might be something that could be done more cheaply.

Tessa is amazing. She can design exactly what you want! Our colors are canary yellow, ivory and chocolate brown. We worked and worked until I found something that was really US. I am SO excited you have no idea. I just keep staring at the invite. Here's mine:
