Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock

Has anyone gotten married here? How was it? Are there good photo spots?

My brother got married there in August and it was really nice. The church is nice, but the grounds are awesome!! There's a ton of room, stone steps, a pond w/ a fountain, tons of trees, a stone mansion w/ stone archways - great place for pics. It's definetly worth a drive to check it out.

I've been there, and it's beautiful. I'm actually getting married by a UU minister myself (one from Stony Brook). I wish I could be more helpful about photo spots!

FH and I went there to try to meet with them but it was closed (almost got locked in the parking lot!). We met a woman who was trying to show her friends from out of town her church and she was the sweetest thing!!

If the church FH and I are going to look at this weekend falls through we are probably going to try here.
