Unity Candle

Ok this is the next thing on my list to get and I am a little clueless. Are they supposed to have your names on them? When people make a DIY, what do they do excatly? Buy a regular candle and glue ribbon on? What about the stand and stuff? Can you get that at a place like Michaels, or is EBay better?
As you can tell I need a lot of help!
TIA!!

Hmm..I dont know if they HAVE to have the names..but I am assuming yes..because thats why its personalized. I brought my unity candle and tapers online (ebay) and it was personalized with FH's name, my name and our wedding date..along with a small verus and the double heart emblem on the top...I have seen many girls on this site DIY unity candles..they are actually quite easy to do...you just have to have time. If you want to DIY..just go to Michaels and purchase a plain unity candle and two tapers..and then leave it up to ur imagination. hth

I DIYed my unity candle. Pics are in my album. I didn't include our names, but I included our last name initial. I don't think it matters what you include. It was really easy to do and I am the most unartistic person in the world. FM if you need any help.

I'm in the same boat - this is my next thing to do as well. If anyone can help us, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
