Unity Candle Ceremony Outdoors?

We are having a July wedding and want to have
an outdoor ceremony at the catering hall.
However we really want to do a unity candle
ceremony but we are afraid of the candle blowing out. We were told to use hurricane glasses or
lanterns around the three cadles but are atill
worried about the technical aspects of lifting the
glass, making sure the candles stay lit, etc. Does
anyone have experience with this and can give some suggestions? Help!

i would be nervous about that too, but i am sure there are ways to prevent rechnical difficulties. have you considered the sand ritual? it has the same concept as the unity candle. good luck ! ~lacey

I went to a wedding at Westbury Manor, and they did the unity candle without any problem. You can fm LaurenluvsTJ and she can let you know what they used, but I have pictures in my community album of their ceremony.
