Unity Candle involving my Daughter????

Unity Candle involving my Daughter????

i want to have my daughter involved in the wedding ceremony some how.....

so i just had an idea of having her (she will be 6 1/2 by then) having a candle also or maybe holding my candle with me when we do the unity candle.....
or maybe sand would be better we could do 3 different colors
ivory for me
navy blue for FH
pink or green for daughter

hmmmmmmm i don't know
what do you gals think????

i think thats a great idea...she'll def feel special.
my son will be 3 when we get married so i wanted to do something like that as well

we both really want her involved since in a way the wedding is partially to make us a family. how do you think it should be done....
should i have 2 caandles for myself and her
and 1 for him or should i just have her hold my candle with me?

I think it might make her feel special if she had her own.

FH's son will be 9 when we get married and I was thinking of doing the same thing for him - fab idea!!!

i think i would do 3 candles...either 2 big ones and 1 lil one or just 3 big candles

oooooo i just got an idea...
maybe i'll look into puting our names on each candle this way they are personalized too

FH just called

i ran it by him and he LOVED the idea of all 3 of us with the unity candle becoming a family.... not that we aren't already but making it official

I think it's a great idea too - I like the sand better than the candles - b.c of the colors.

i think that is such a great idea. i was watching bridezillas and she had a few kids.. so they did the sand and everyone was all different colors. it look so pretty.
